DC COMICS HOME FOR UNWANTED HEROES my latest commission from Mike Kevan
I’ll be honest: my emotions regarding the DCnU hover in that space between anger & sadness, with occasional trips to frustrated.
I could go on & on about my feelings but I’ll stick with my preferred method of letting Mike translate those thoughts into images (something he does so well).

John Green: Harry Potter Nerds Win at Life (x)
"It’s a dead heat between Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson. Scarlett mixes a mean martini. It was quite rare that we were all there [on set] - it was like a relay race - but there was one weekend where we were all together. I’ll never forget the Saturday night in Albuquerque - every mobile phone of every single actor playing every single Avenger received a text message from Chris Evans that simply said “Assemble”. The following text message then said “Yes I did. I’m drunk.” We met at this bar on the high street and had a really fun time actually. There was a birthday party happening in the same bar and we were all on the dancefloor next to the VIP area. I remember the birthday boy celebrating with his friends… and then seeing Black Widow dancing with Captain America."

"When I’m writing Bruce he’s right. When I’m writing Damian he’s right. And Alfred, of course, is always right, every second of every day."

DC Speedsters for firefly20ffm :3
"The fireflies in issue #4, in my mind, represented a lost innocence due to his upbringing. I see Damian as a very self-aware character. Also, I imagined he was referring to Dick Grayson in a subtle way, as someone who has never let the darkness in his life completely envelop him. There’s a sense of envy and regret for a life he truly knows will always be just out of his reach simply because of who he is and how he got here. In other words deep stuff for simply squashing a firefly, huh?"
